We seek a California licensed Pharm.D. with three (3) or more years of acute care pharmacy leadership experience for the role of Director of Pharmacy. The person in this role will b responsible for developing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures, extensive involvement with medical staff committees, drug use initiatives, educational programs, research protocols, QA/QI/PI, formulary management and department budget. He/she will serve as the facility Patient Safety Officer.
Candidates must be a graduate of a College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy. Must be licensed in the state of California. Must have a minimum of five (5) years previous hospital pharmacy experience or at least three (3) years prior managerial experience in the pharmacy. Must be computer literate in Excel and Word.
